Deadline for submissions on the Core Strategy is today Friday 2nd October. Thank you to all who have contributed. The pile of books and response forms in the post office has disappeared so lots of you have contributed. Progress on The Square


We had hoped to have a meeting with Edwina Smart, the senior officer from the North Shropshire planning team, next Thursday 1st October. However, she has told our Councillor Paul Wynn that she is not able to attend and proposed that we meet with the senior conservation officer instead. This is not acceptable and we have said so. We are going to delay the meeting until mid October so that we can be sure to get both planning and conservation officers together to make our point.

Progress so far with the work on site........
Well the Council are still maintaing that the owner of The Square will have it completed by Christmas. Countdown is still on and we are wondering whether to place bets, but I don't think any bookies would take us on do you?
